Meet Our Instructors

Jessica Flory, CPIM-F, CSCP-F, CLTD, MBA   

Jessica has worked in production control, demand planning and material planning in the heavy equipment manufacturing and automotive supply industries. She has provided workshops and consulting services to entrepreneurs and small business owners. Currently she delivers ASCM CPIM, CLTD, and CSCP training, enhancing the curriculum to provide hands-on and engaging experiences for all students.

Yu-Cheng Chien MBA, CSCP, CPIM, CLTD

Yu-Cheng has more than 25 years of manufacturing experience in automotive and telecommunications, with special expertise in global sourcing. Mr. Chien holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering plus an MBA from Strayer University, with a concentration in Supply Chain Management. Post graduate studies include certificates within the ASCM Risk Management and MWCC's Lean Facilitator programs.

He travels extensively to the Far East, visiting more than 25 vendors per year. Yu-Cheng was a featured speaker at ASCM’ Shanghai conference in April 2015. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese. Yu-Cheng was instrumental in chartering the student chapter at the University of Maryland’s R.H. Smith Graduate School in 2014, growing its membership to the fourth-largest ASC within the Mid-Atlantic District of ASCM. 

Todd N. Sabin, CPIM, CSCP

Todd Sabin is a dedicated supply chain management professional with 30+ years expertise in manufacturing, supply chain management, and economic and workforce development. His career spans dynamic roles in both the public and private sectors, as well as academia. 

He has 20 years' experience delivering professional classroom instruction for the APICS' body of knowledge including the Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), as well as workshops and seminars on topics such as demand management, quality control, lean manufacturing, and theory of constraints to small to large companies from diverse industries. He has engaged with students from various backgrounds through effective instruction planning techniques, facilitating meaningful discussions, and promoting internalization of concepts.
